Zuo Jingyuan (左婧媛) is a Chinese singer. She is a former member of the girl groups SNH48 and GNZ48.
Career[]
2016-2022: GNZ48 Team NIII[]
On January 18, 2016, she was revealed as a sixth generation trainee member of SNH48.[1] Three months later, on April 20, she was transferred to GNZ48 and joined Team NIII.
On September 19, 2016, she made her music debut in the group with the EP You Don't Know Me, where she was included in the b-sides "近未来" and "这样的我".
On March 29, 2019, she participated in her first main track with the EP Hero.
On February 12, 2020, it was announced that she and Tang Lijia would be demoted to trainee status due to committing serious rule violations.[2] On September 6, she was repromoted to Team NIII due to her high ranking at the SNH48 Group 7th Annual Popularity Election.[1]
On April 6, 2021, she was once again demoted to trainee status and suspended from the group due to ongoing and repeated rule violations.[1] On August 12, she repromoted to Team NIII due to her high ranking at the SNH48 Group 8th Annual Popularity Election.[1]
On February 22, 2022, it was announced that she had been dismissed from GNZ48 due to her continued violations and disagreements with management.[3]
2022-2024: SNH48 Team X[]
On June 10, 2022, she had returned to STAR48 and was announced as a new trainee member of STAR48.[1] Three months later, on September 12, she was promoted to Team X as an official member.
On September 20, 2024, it was announced that she would be going on an indefinite hiatus.
