Zhao Yue (Chinese: 赵粤, Korean: 자오웨), also known as Akira, is a Chinese singer and actress under STAR48. She is a member of the sub-unit 7SENSES. She is a former member of the girl group SNH48 and project girl group Bonbon Girls 303.
She made her solo debut on August 2, 2022 with the digital single "凤 (舞)".
She is known for being a contestant on the reality survival show Produce Camp 2020.
Career[]
2013-present: SNH48 Team NII, 7SENSES, Produce Camp 2020, Bonbon Girls 303[]
On August 13, 2013, she was revealed as a second generation trainee member of SNH48.[1] Three months later, on November 11, she was promoted to Team NII as an official member.[1]
On November 25, 2013, she made her music debut with the EP Koi Suru Fortune Cookie where she was included in the b-side "Noel no Yoru".
On January 15, 2015, she was included in her first SNH48 main track with the EP Give Me Five!.
On March 27, 2017, she was revealed as a member of the SNH48 sub-unit 7SENSES at the "24th ERC Chinese Top Ten Awards".[2] The next month, on April 7, the group debuted with the EP Seven Sen7es.
On May 17, 2018, she made her main track center debut with the EP Forest Theorem.
She participated in the Tencent reality survival show Produce Camp 2020 which first aired on May 2, 2020. On July 4, she placed 2nd on the final episode, thus becoming a member of the project girl group Bonbon Girls 303. The group made their debut on August 11 with the EP The Law of Hard Candy.
On July 24 2022, the group disbanded after their contract had ended. She returned to STAR48 to continue her promotions as a singer, actress, and member of 7SENSES.
On August 2, 2022, she made her solo debut with the digital single "凤 (舞)".
On August 19, 2023, she graduated from SNH48 as an "Honored Graduate", due to fufilling her full contract time with the group.[1]
