Yuan (Chinese: 媛; Korean: 위엔) is a Taiwanese singer under TEN Entertainment. She is a member of the girl group GENBLUE.
She is known for being a contestant on the reality survival show NEXT GIRLZ.
Career[]
2020: Dancing Diamond 52[]
She was originally revealed as a contestant for the Taiwanese reality show Dancing Diamond 52 which first aired on June 12, 2020, however she could not participate due to not meeting the age limit requirement for the show.[citation needed]
2023-present: NEXT GIRLZ, GENBLUE[]
On May 31, 2023, she was revealed as a contestant for the Taiwanese reality survival show NEXT GIRLZ as a TEN Entertainment and GENBLUE representative.[1] The group did not end up winning the show, however GENBLUE will still debut sometime in 2024.
On September 2, 2024, GENBLUE made their official debut with the digital single "Cococo".
