Wu Yanwen (吴燕文) is a Chinese singer, actress, and songwriter. She is a former trainee member of SNH48.

Career[]

2014-2018: SNH48 Team HII[]

On July 26, 2014, she was revealed as a third generation trainee member of SNH48.[1] Two months later, on September 5, she was promoted to Team HII as an official member.[1]

On January 15, 2015, she made her music debut in the group with the EP Give Me Five! where she was included in the b-side "Juuryoku Sympathy".

On February 13, 2015, she was appointed as the first co-captain of Team HII.[1]

On March 28, 2015, she was included in her first SNH48 group main track with the EP After Rain.

On March 3, 2017, she was promoted to captain of Team HII due to the graduation of Wang Lu.[1]

On January 5, 2018, she silently graduated from the group and stepped down as captain in order to become a full time journalist.[2] On February 3, 2018, she was demoted to trainee status after leaving the group.[1] Her profile wouldn't be removed from the roster until January 19, 2019, thus "officially" graduating from the group.
