Wang Ruiqi (Chinese: 王睿琦; Mongolian: Ван Рүйчи) is a Chinese singer under STAR48. She is the captain of the girl group SNH48's Team X. She is a former member of the girl group SHY48 and trainee member of the internet-based group IDOLS Ft.
Career[]
2017-2018: SHY48 Team HIII[]
On April 29, 2017, she was revealed as a second generation member of the girl group SHY48 and joined Team HIII.[1]
On September 23, 2017, she made her music debut with the EP Towards The Future, where she was included in the b-sides "Shy" and "We are the One".
On May 17, 2018, it was announced that she would be going on an indefinite hiatus.
On October 5, 2018, she returned to STAR48 and joined SHY48's fourth generation as a trainee member.[1]
2019-present: IDOLS Ft, SNH48 Team X[]
On January 19, 2019, she was transferred to IDOLS Ft as a trainee member due to the disbandment of SHY48.[1] Four months later, on May 19, she was transferred to SNH48 and joined Team X as an official member.[1]
On May 26, 2021, she participated in her first main track with the EP Bong! Bong! Bong!.
On August 26, 2023, she was appointed as captain of Team X.[1]
