Shen Mengyao (沈梦瑶) is a Chinese singer. She is a former member of the girl group SNH48.
She made her solo debut on May 12, 2022, with the digital single "Whisper".
Career[]
2015-2023: SNH48 Team HII[]
On July 25, 2015, she was revealed as a fifth generation trainee member of the girl group SNH48. Two months later, on September 13, she was promted to Team HII as an official member.[1]
On December 20, 2016, she made her music debut with the EP Happy Wonder World, where she was included in the b-side "倒转魔法师".
On September 21, 2019, she participated in her first main track with the EP Poetry About Time.
On December 5, 2020, she was appointed as captain of Team HII.[1]
On October 21, 2022, she made her main track center debut with the EP Silk Road.
On June 23, 2023, she relinquished her role as captain of Team HII.[1]
On August 28, 2023, it was revealed that she would go on an indefinite hiatus.[1]
