Lexie Liu, also known as Liu Boxin (Chinese: 刘柏辛; Korean: 렉시리우), is a Chinese singer-songwriter, rapper, and model under 88rising.

She made her solo debut on October 10, 2018, with the digital single "Sleep Away".

She is known for being a contestant on the South Korean reality survival show K-pop Star 5 and Chinese reality survival show The Rap of China 2.

Career[]

2015-2016: K-pop Star 5[]

She participated in the SBS reality survival show K-pop Star 5 which first aired on November 22, 2015 as a representative of the girl group Mazinga S. The team was eliminated on the 20th episode, placing 4th overall.

2018-2020: The Rap of China, "Sleep Away", 2029, 2030, Meta Ego, "More"[]

She participated in iQIYI reality survival show The Rap of China 2 which first aired June 24, 2017. She placed 4th on the final episode, launching her career as a solo artist.[1]

On October 10, 2018, she made her official solo debut with the pre-release digital single "Sleep Away". Six days later, on October 16, she released her debut studio album 2029.

On February 1, 2019, she made her American debut with the EP 2030.

On December 27, 2019, she released her second studio album Meta Ego.

On October 28, 2020, she collaborated with Riot Games and KDA with their new digital single "More" as the voice of Seraphine.

2021-present: Gone Gold, The Happy Star[]

On January 28, 2021, she released her second EP Gone Gold.

On December 7, 2022, she released her third studio album The Happy Star.
