Kiki, also known as Xu Jiaqi (许佳琪) is a Chinese singer and actress under STAR48. She is a member of the sub-unit 7SENSES. She is a former member of the girl group SNH48 and the project girl group THE9.
She made her solo debut on December 28, 2021, with the digital single "Poison Kandy".
She is known for being a contestant on the reality survival show Youth With You 2.
Career[]
2012-2021: SNH48 Team SII, 7SENSES, Youth With You 2, THE9[]
On October 14, 2012, she was revealed as a first generation trainee member of the girl group SNH48.[1] A year later, on April 17, 2013, she was promoted to an official member of the group.[1]
On May 13, 2013, she made her music debut with the EP Heavy Rotation.
On November 25, 2013, she made her main track center debut with the EP Koi Suru Fortune Cookie.
On March 27, 2017, she was revealed as a member of the SNH48 sub-unit 7SENSES at the "24th ERC Chinese Top Ten Awards".[2] The next month, on April 7, the group debuted with the EP Seven Sen7es.
She participated in the iQIYI reality survival show Youth With You 2 which first aired on March 12, 2020. On May 30, she placed third on the final episode, thus becoming a member of the project girl group THE9. The group made their official debut on August 10, with the digital single "SphinX".
On October 14, 2020, she graduated from SNH48 as an "Honored Graduate", due to fulfilling her full contract time with the group. She decided to continue working with STAR48 to further her solo and sub-unit activities.[1]
On December 5, 2021, THE9 disbanded after their contract had ended.
