Hua Chiyo, also known as Hua Chengyan (华承妍), is a Japanese-Chinese singer-songwriter and producer under One Leader Entertainment. She is a former member of the Japanese girl group Def Will.
She made her solo debut on May 1, 2017, with the digital single "君と出会えるって".
She is known for being a contestant on the reality survival show Produce Camp 2020.
Career[]
2015-2018: Def Will[]
In 2015, she was revealed as a member of the Japanese girl group Def Will. The group made their debut on July 2, 2016, with the digital single "Lovely Day".
In 2018, shortly after the release of the group's first studio album, the group disbanded due to the retirement of their producer Komuro Tetsuya.[1]
2020: Produce Camp 2020[]
She participated in the Tencent survival show Produce Camp 2020 which first aired on May 2, 2020. She was eliminated on the 9th episode in 20th place.
