Fujii Mayu (Chinese: 藤井麻由; Japanese: ふじい まゆ) is a Japanese singer and YouTuber. She is a former member of the girl girl AKB48 Team TP and former pre-debut member of the girl group SUNNY PARFUM.

She is known for being a contestant on the survival reality show NEXT GIRLZ.

Career[]

2018-2023: AKB48 Team TP[]

On February 4, 2018, she was revealed as a first generation trainee member under TPE48. Six months later, she was transferred to AKB48 Team TP as a trainee.[1]

On December 25, 2019, she made her music debut with the single album Yuuhi wo Miteiru ka?.

On March 1, 2020, she joined the unit Bellflower as a trainee.[2] Seven months later, on October 9, she was promoted to an official member of the group.[3]

On July 1, 2022, Bellflower was dissolved and she was transferred to the newly formed Unit T.

On October 14, 2022, she made her main track center debut with the single album Ne mo Ha mo Rumor.

On March 19, 2023, she went on hiatus from the group and was moved to "REST" members due to violation of the code of conduct. She returned to the group on April 18, 2023. However, after further investigation, she was dismissed from the group due to further undiscolsed violations on June 7, 2023.[4]

2023-2024: NEXT GIRLZ, SUNNY PARFUM[]

On June 2, 2023, she was revealed as a contestant for the Taiwanese reality survival show NEXT GIRLZ as a MUGEN Entertainment and SUNNY PARFUM representative.[5] The group did not win the show, but are planned to continue training in Korea before preparing for an official debut.[6]

On April 18, 2024, it was announced that she had left the group and MUGEN Entertainment in order to pursue her career as an influencer and YouTuber.[7]
