He participated in the iQIYI reality survival show Idol Producer which first aired on January 19, 2018. He was eliminated on the 10th episode in 23rd place.^[1]

On June 21, 2018, he debuted as a member of the boy group NEXT with their EP The First I.^[2]

2023-present: Asia Super Young, LOONG9[]

On August 8, 2023, he was confirmed as a contestant on the survival show Asia Super Young.^[3] On March 9, 2024, he placed second on the final episode, thus becoming a member of the project boy group LOONG9.^[4] The group made their debut on August 26, with the digital single "Go For Broke".
