Chia I-chen (賈宜蓁) is a Taiwanese trainee. She is a former trainee member of the girl group AKB48 Team TP.
Career[]
2018-2023: AKB48 Team TP[]
On February 4, 2018, she was revealed as a first generation trainee member of TPE48.[1] Six months later, she was transferred to AKB48 Team TP as a trainee.[1]
On December 25, 2019, she made her music debut with the single album Yuuhi wo Miteiru ka?, where she was included in the b-side "Only Today".
On March 10, 2020, it was announced that she would join the unit Daisy as a trainee member.[1]
On December 22, 2021, AKB48 Team TP released a statement announcing that she would go on a temporary hiatus starting from December 23, due to educational reasons.[2] While on hiatus, on July 1, 2022, she was transferred to the unit Peek A Boo as a trainee member due to the dissolvement of Daisy.[1] After almost two years of hiatus, on July 4, 2023, she returned to the group.
On August 19, 2023, she was transferred to the unit TIC TAC TOE as a trainee member.
On September 13, 2023, AKB48 Team TP released a statement that she had withdrawn from the group in order to pursue a career in acting.[3]
