Cheng Chia-yu (鄭佳郁) is a Taiwanese singer. She is a former member of the girl group AKB48 Team TP.
Career[]
2018-2024: AKB48 Team TP[]
On Ferbuary 4, 2018, she was revealed as a first generation trainee member of the girl group TPE48.[1] On August 25, she was transferred to AKB48 Team TP as a trainee member.[1]
On July 26, 2019, she made her music debut with the single album TTP Festival, where she was included in the b-side "LOVE Shugyou".
On March 1, 2020, it was announced that she would join the unit Sakura.[1]
On September 17, 2020, she participated in her first main track with the single album Uhho Uhhoho.
On November 12, 2022, she was promoted to an official member of AKB48 Team TP.[1]
On January 15, 2023, she was transferred to the unit Peek A Boo after the dissolvement of Sakura.[1]
On May 14, 2023, AKB48 Team TP announced that she, along with 13 other members, would be graduating from the group.[2]
On August 20, 2023, she held her final theater performance and graudated from AKB48 Team TP.
