Chen Hongyu (陈泓宇) is a Chinese singer. She is a former trainee member of the girl group GNZ48.
Career[]
2021-2023: GNZ48 Team G[]
On May 3, 2021, she was announced as a 10th generation trainee under the girl group GNZ48.[1] Six months later, on November 7, she was promoted to Team G as an official member.[1]
On March 1, 2022, she made her music debut with the album 绝无仅有的感动, where she was included in the b-side "Gravity".
On May 20, 2023, she participated in her first main track with the EP Lovely Echo.
On June 30, 2023, GNZ48 had releases a statment that she will be demoted to trainee status due to violating code of conduct dealing with personal relations with fans in which she was allegedly in direct contact with a fan who sent her gifts. She has denied these allegations, however was officially demoted to trainee status on July 4, 2023.[1]
On August 14, 2023, it was announced that she would be going on an indefinite hiatus.
