CIIU (奔赴少年, short for Closer To(II) YoU), formerly known as Project C, is a five-member boy group under Fanling Culture and JYP Entertainment. Originally as six, they made their debut on August 22, 2025 with the mini album Our Start.
History[]
Pre-debut[]
They made their 1st Open Stage Performance on December 7, 2021.[1]
On November 22, 2022, the official Weibo account revealed Victor left the group to focus on his studies.[2]
They were expected to debut in the second half of 2024 according to JYP Entertainment's investors report.[3]
On March 13, 2025, through their official Weibo, they shared an account named CIIU with the tag #CIIU, confirming their debut name as CIIU, which means Closer To(II) YoU. However, Ze Xin was not included in the debut lineup, which confirmed his departure from the group. Tian Yi and Ze Heng were subsequently confirmed to join the lineup. The group's name also appeared in the 2025 First Line-Up Expansion, and this confirms they are planning to debut in the second half of 2025.[4]
2025: "See You Today", Debut with Our Start[]
Their first single, "See You Today", was released on April 30, 2025.
On August 22, they made their official debut with their first mini album, Our Start.
